    1. I’m happy that this website could help you. It’s the reason I started it. My only experience with HL3 is that I know my son Frankie has it and the reason I know this is because I have read everything there is to read by the experts. The problem is it’s not recognized as a unique diagnosis on its own. It’s easier for doctors and schools to simply put these kids on the spectrum and ignore what really is. I would even be ok with ASD WITH HL3, but there just isn’t such a thing. It’s just autism and this is wrong on many levels. First of all, it’s misleading to a parent, to the schools and to doctors/therapists trying to treat it. HL3 has characteristics of autism, but this doesn’t mean that’s what it is. If someone was diagnosed with a blood disorder, a doctor would still need to know what the exact disorder it was to properly treat it. I 100% believe in HL3 and these experts because they are the only ones who could explain my son to me. They made everything click. Frankie has followed their timelines in terms of the way HL3 progresses and he continues to progress all the time. I went from thinking he may never live a normal life to knowing that what he has is something very different than autism alone.
